Having a buddy to workout with is a great way to keep you both motivated to burn fat. You already share the same concerns, so if anyone understands what you're going through, it's going to be your buddy.
Plus having that support may be just what you need to help get you to the next level. Unfortunately, we all experienced that level when we think we've done all that we can. Our buddy can be there to help keep us going.
And for some reason we tend to be more accountable when someone else is evolved. It's probably because we don't want to let them down. You know that your buddy is going to ask you if you've been sticking to your diet. And because of this, you're more apt to stick with it out of not wanting to face the embarrassment of having to say no.
And if the saying two heads are better than one, then you can each help each other in areas in which you're weak. It's like having a second brain you can tap into for more knowledge and information.
And having someone to work out with is an added bonus. You can push each other to keep going when you start to get tired and encourage each other when you're not at your best. The encouragement you get from having a buddy around only helps to increase your resolve.
Another added bonus is that your buddy can call you up to make sure you're doing what you said you were going to do. It's like having a little voice in your ear prodding you on to lose weight.
And one last thing. Always remember that information is always your best ally in your effort to burn fat.
