So, you want to lose poundage? (weight) Well, there are a number of weight loss programs and methods that tells you how to "Lose Weight Fast". A lot of programs may work for a while where others may not work at all. Some show you a magic pill to take to melt the fat away and others tell you not to eat certain food or eliminate whole food groups to shed those pounds. I am here to tell you the secret of losing a lot of weight and keeping it off. Listen very closely .......the real way to loose weight is ESTS , eat smart and take it slow. If you can't gain 100 pounds overnight you can't loose 100 pounds overnight.



"How do I lose my weight the smart way?" I am glad you asked. The way to do this is eating right and exercising. Below, I have given a few tips to accomplish this.



Consult a doctor before starting any habit changing or exercise program. There may be certain foods or exercises that could hurt instead of help. Get informed first.



Keep a food journal. I didn't like the fact I have to write down everything I ate and the times everyday but if you think about it, when you have to budget, you write down how much you receive and how much you spend. You then compare and make changes. A food journal has the same concept but for different results. Try it and see if this doesn't change your way of thinking.



Reduce your calorie intake. Its best to eat 5 or 6 small meals or snacks a day. This helps your body get frequent nutrients so your metabolism can speed up. Even though you may be eating more times per day, you are still cutting calories. Eating less may be hard for some people due to emotional eating. If this sounds like you, you have to find out first why you are eating this way. Once you see why, you can change your bad habits with good ones to stop the weight from piling on.



Eat a lot of vegetables. Your body needs the nutrients and vitamins.



Lower carb intake. You need carbs so I don't recommend eliminating them all together but eat good carbs like whole wheat.



Drink lots of water. Water replenishes the body naturally and helps keep your skin soft and smooth.



And now, here it is, the dreaded exercise. You have to get your body moving if you want results. At first it will be hard because you are not use to moving but once you start and continue for a few weeks, you will see an improvement in your energy level. You don't have to join the gym, you can purchase outdoor games and play with the kids or get a bike and ride around the neighborhood. The goal is get your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes a day, 3 to 5 days a week. And remember to give yourself a rest. Don't overdue it.



Before you know it, you will feel even better about yourself and others will be proud of you because of your hard work.



Most important, don't give up. If you can keep up your new eating and exercise habit for about 2 months, you will succeed to your weight loss goal. Only you can change you. I wish you the best!
